Windows Xp Print Error Getting The Clipboard Data

The symptoms are the same: alt-printscreen works like a champ, but the whole-desktop printscreen seems like it doesn't even capture a picture. Yes No Cookies make wikiHow better. It may be keyboard related as copy/paste work fine it just seems to be the "print screen" button is not copying the screen to the paste buffer correctly.
