If you have to modify the settings for the service, double-click the service, make the adjustment, and then click OK. I saw there are four depdendencies, one of which is Remote Desktop Services, so I right-clicked and hit Start and got another error. If the issue is gone,then we would know where else to look.

I've now installed Windows 7 on three computers and two of them can be configured with no problems what so ever. If you do not use a crossover cable, it definitely won't work because the two hosts (the PC and the Xbox) won't be able to communicate with one another.
