I had to manually re-enable it and then reconnect - that worked for me.

Thank you so much. If you are a Windows 7 user, it's most likely you've stumbled into the Cisco VPN Client error message "Reason 442: Failed to enable Virtual Adapter". UPDATE: Works with Windows 10. Just in case anyone comes here for the same problem, this is what I did: 1) Download and install Shrew Soft VPN client from https://www.shrew.net/download/vpn 2) Extract the university's VPN client
