Windows 7 Vb6 Unexpected Error
I am concerned because this error is will not look good when our customer installs our software.Note: this problem is not encountered when installing the same installer package on an XP The app is small and very simple. The expectation was that it would yield better quality icons on Windows 7. You can use DCOMbobulator to allow it to restart, or you can go to the Services control panel and restart it there. Please rate my post if you find it helpful! Every time I open the app I get unexpected error message. check it out

If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu. But perhaps it is time to actually learn it - not for work (retired), but because it is interesting. This worked fine on Windows 7. Basically, VB6 requires the DCOM Server Process Launcher service to be active (which it is by default) in order to load.
