I simply searched for "linkCreation.dotm" in spotlight and found it in the Word folder. and don't worry, the folder is there if you were affected by the update; the lengthy numbered folders aren't specific to Richard's machine; they are on yours too.

I did exactly what was told in previous talks but I still get the same problem. start tunnelling down from your home folder (~), not the root of the startup disk. Have a feature request? navigate to this website For what it's worth, I also had another file called "Bookends.dot" in the above folder alongside the problem file.

That did it. For more information, please visit Release Notes for Mendeley Desktop v1.16.3. That takes you to the Word application, which should be in the same folder as the Office Folder. Solved.
