- There are various things that could be wrong, such as database corruption or NTFS permissions on the folders being incorrect, all the way to the services being corrupt.

The server is virtual but doesn't have over 20 CPUs & it is running 2008 R2 not 2003 so I don't think the issue is addressed in those articles. 0
